SyncScan 2

The SyncScan 2 is a 32:128PR PAUT flaw detector with optional 2-channel TOFD, designed to maximise efficiency for phased array and TOFD applications. Lightweight at just 4 kg including battery, it achieves scan speeds of ~3 m/min.

A removable electric fan supports operation in high-temperature environments. It handles UT, PA, and TOFD for welds, forgings, and plates. The 32-channel PA configuration excels with extra-thick walls and high-attenuation materials, supporting simultaneous 32-ch PA and 2-ch TOFD with pitch-and-catch (PR) mode for corrosion inspection.

Customisable colour mapping provides intuitive wall thickness visualisation. Applications span tubes, forged pieces, bars, castings, welds, and composites across transportation, petrochemical, metallurgy, railway, shipbuilding, and aerospace industries.
