Advanced General Purpose Digital Flaw Detector
The CTS-9009 is a compact and portable advanced general-purpose digital flaw detector weighing approximately 1.15 kg including battery — suitable for elevated and field work. Its minimal, clearly-defined controls enable single-handed operation. Designed to IP65 standard (IP67 optional), the Li-polymer battery supports up to 7 hours of continuous operation.
Key technical features include a maximum sampling rate of 240 MHz with 0.1 mm measurement resolution, operating frequency range of 0.5–15 MHz, adjustable PRF 20–2000 Hz (10 steps), cineloop recording, probe echo frequency measurement, curved surface correction, RF echo display, USB data storage, and amplitude B-scan imaging. The gate magnifier function enlarges echo areas to full-screen display for detailed analysis. AGC auto gain control with peak detection and image freeze, DAC curve with echo compare, and crack height measurement via edge peak echo method are all included as standard.
Ethernet connectivity enables real-time PC interaction and remote control. Storage for up to 500 curve and waveform sets, 9 language support, 3 colour scheme options. Complies with AWS D1.1/D1.5, API 5UE, and EN-12668-1 standards.
